For DeAnna Lenhart, real estate is more of an obsession than an occupation. It began with the purchase of her first apartment in Ditmas Park in 2004. And it was fortuitous that she bought the home through Jan Rosenberg, founder of Brooklyn Hearth Realty Ltd.

What began as a broker/customer relationship evolved into a friendship and successful business partnership when DeAnna and another Ditmas Park transplant, Rebekah Carver, joined her in residential real estate sales. After a very successful first year as a salesperson, in 2005, they officially re-formed as Brooklyn Hearth Realty, with DeAnna becoming one of the firm's three co-owners.

In addition to running a very successful boutique brokerage, DeAnna has bought, renovated, and sold three different properties in Brooklyn - and is in the middle of renovating a fourth. She also served on her co-op board, securing financial changes and other improvements that have made it one of the most desirable buildings in the neighborhood.

DeAnna is passionate about helping her clients develop a successful real estate strategy that matches who they are and what they want in life. Whether making strategic improvements to help a property truly shine, providing the right marketing mix to reach the best potential buyers, or advising the client throughout the negotiations, DeAnna has built a solid reputation as a problem solver and has proven herself an excellent advocate for all her clients.
